The Supreme Court’s ongoing hearing on NEET UG 2024 is set to resume on Monday morning at 10:30 AM, with Chief Justice Chandrachud aiming to wrap up proceedings by noon. During the session, the Chief Justice requested a copy of the Bihar police report pertaining to the case. Counsel Mr. Hooda advocated for a temporary halt to the counselling process, expressing concerns over ongoing irregularities.
In response, the Solicitor General clarified that counselling is scheduled to commence around July 24 and is expected to span two to three months. Chief Justice Chandrachud affirmed the continuation of the hearing on Monday, maintaining focus on resolving the issues raised in the petitions before the court.
