The rescheduling fee is Rs. 5,000, while the same fee is also charged for changing the test center.

How to Register for GRE online?

  • Login to the ETS account or create one.
  • On the home page, choose Register/Find Test Centers.
  • Choose the GRE General Test and verify your email to continue.
  • Confirm your time zone or choose a new one to select the test appointment.
  • Select the two-month window for searching and then choose the preferred calendar date.
  • Choose an available date/time for testing and click Register for this test.
  • Complete the registration and make your test payment.
  • Upon registration processing, you will get the ETS confirmation email.

GRE Exam Dates 2025

You can book test dates once in every 21 days and up to five times within a period of 12 months or 365 days. The GRE at Home test is also available 7 days a week. You can get exam dates almost every day in a month.

GRE Dates 2024 for Delhi NCR

The remaining GRE dates 2024 for Delhi-NCR include:

  • November, 2024- 28 and 30
  • December, 2024- 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 09, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 26, 30, 31

There are dates from January, 2025, onwards as well.

How Many Times Can You Take the GRE?

You can take the GRE once every 21 days and up to five times in a year (365 days) within any continuous period of 12-months (rolling).

GRE Exam Pattern

The pattern is the following:

  • 3 scored sections (analytical writing, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning) and one unscored section
  • 3 hours and 45 minutes in total with an in-built break of 10 minutes
  • 60 minutes for analytical writing and 70 and 60 minutes for quantitative and verbal reasoning (40 questions each)
  • The new format will have one analytical writing section question (30 minute) with 27 questions each for the quantitative and verbal reasoning sections (47 and 41 minutes respectively). The total test time will be 1 hour and 58 minutes
  • The unscored section and the break of 10 minutes will be removed
