Steps to Register for SAT 2025 :
- Choose your test date and finish the registration. Late registration leads to extra fees and there is a cut-off to keep in mind as well.
- You can do the registration online on the website of the College Board or by filling out and mailing the form for the Student Registration Booklet (available from school counsellors).
- Make sure your personal data is in sync with the photo ID information, while uploading your picture for identification.
- You’ll have to pay the registration fee for the SAT and then print out the admission ticket (which you will require on the testing day).

SAT Score 2025
You can view your SAT scores and score reports by logging into your College Board Account. Scores are mostly released 2-4 weeks after the day of the test. The key aspects are the following:
- Total Score- 400-1600 (The score percentile will inform the percentage of students appearing for the test who performed better/worse)
- The score range indicates the range you may get if you took the exam on different days at multiple times
- Section Scores- These are for the Reading & Writing and Math sections, which are added together to create the total score.
- Score Recipients- These are shown in the report, i.e. colleges/programs where you wanted to send your scores to.

Sending SAT Scores: A Step-by-Step Guide
- Sign into your College Board account and go to the page- Send SAT Scores
- Here, you can ignore the fee waiver prompt if it does not apply in your case
- Choose the institutions by their code/name, clicking one or multiple such institutions and adding them to the list of score recipients. Then click on Continue
- As you choose the scores to send, check out the institutions’ policy guidelines on what they need. Choose all scores or some of them for each recipient.
- Review the order and check out. Remember that electronic scores are sent within 5-10 days of the order being placed. Alternatively, this may also be around two weeks after the date of testing.
- Rush shipping is available for scores which have been released already, and they are sent within 1-4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
