SAT in India is a standardised exam for admission for undergraduates abroad as well as in India. The full form of SAT is the ‘Scholastic Assessment Test’ which is conducted by the College Board. It provides students admission to universities in the USA and Canada. Some countries that accept SAT admission are the UK and Australia apart from the aforementioned countries.

But when to take the SAT exam? Well, the exam is conducted five times a year. During the months of March, May, August, October, and December. So if you are planning for the SAT exam in India 2022, then the months of August, October and December session is underway.

You can register for SAT 2022 from their official website. But if you are planning for SAT 2023, the registration window will open from October 2022 for the year 2023 – March, May and June.

There are certain steps students will have to undergo for the SAT India exam process.

Step 1: Register for the SAT Exam

The first step is to register for the exam. The candidates need to visit their official website to fill out the form for the SAT exam. Make sure you know the SAT exam register deadline by when the application needs to be submitted. But in case you are late and exceed the deadline, you can register for the next month.

Step 2: Admission Ticket for the SAT

Once you register for the SAT, you will receive the SAT admission ticket. This is for confirming the registration and documents for the SAT exam are approved.

Step 3: Appear for the SAT Entrance Exam

Students who have registered for the SAT will be given the SAT exam date and test centre. The exam syllabus will have reading, writing and language skills, maths solving and optional subject-specific tests.

Step 4: The SAT Exam Result

You can check the SAT exam results on their official SAT website. You can download the scores from the website as well. The SAT score will be out after 2-4 weeks post the exam.
