Astana Medical University is one of the biggest and fastest-growing universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It has built a hallowed reputation in medical education, known for its recognized curricula and wide spectrum of clinical activities. The institution was recognized as an academy in 1997 and its inception dates back to the resolution adopted by the Council of Ministers of Republic in 1964. It became a university from January 2009 and was transferred to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2010.
