Yes, the Kiev University of UAFM is acknowledged by the National Medical Commission. The NExT licensing exams are conducted by the NMC.
If you fail the KROK 1 exam, you can get 3 attempts to pass while continuing the 4th year however if you fail KROK 2 or both, you will not receive a certificate and need to postpone your studies. YOu may not get to appear for the NExT along with any internship programme.
Yes, all students need to appear for the KROK exam. This exam is conducted after completion of the 3rd year’s second semester. It is conducted to promote students to the 4th year.
There are a total of 2 KROK exams you need to clear. KROK 1 at the end of 3rd Year and KROK 2 at the end of 6th Year. If you fail you get 3 retakes for the exam. If you fail in both KROK 1 and 2, you won’t be qualified for the MBBS degree or NExT Exam.
The MBBS admission for UG in Ukraine happens twice a year – Fall and Spring intakes. The spring intake is between February to March and the fall intake is between September to October.
