The NEET UG State Counselling Schedule 2025 has been officially released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on its website mcc.nic.in. Candidates who qualified in the NEET UG exam 2025 can start registering for Round 1 of counselling from July 21, 2025. This process is crucial for students aiming to secure admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota seats across India.

The process will have four phases—Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a final stray vacancy round—with October 3 marked as the last date to join allotted medical institutions.

NEET Counselling 2025 Process

If you’ve cleared NEET UG 2025, the counselling process is your next step to get admission into MBBS, BDS, or other medical courses.

Here’s how you can take part in NEET UG Counselling 2025:

Step 1: Register on the MCC Website

  • Go to mcc.nic.in and click on the NEET UG 2025 counselling link.
  • Fill in your personal details, NEET 2025 roll number, and marks.
  • Make sure all the information is correct before you submit.

Step 2: Pay the Counselling Fee

  • You have to pay a registration fee, which has two parts:
  • Non-refundable fee (you won’t get this back)
  • Refundable security deposit (you’ll get this back if you follow all steps or don’t get a seat)
  • You can pay using your credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 3: Choose Your College & Course

  • Once you register and pay the fee, you can select your preferred colleges and courses from the list.
  • Fill your choices carefully and lock them before the deadline.

Step 4: Wait for Seat Allotment

  • MCC will assign seats based on your NEET All India Rank (AIR), category, and the choices you filled.
  • You’ll be able to see your allotted college and course on the MCC website.

Step 5: Report to the Allotted College

  • If you get a seat, you must report to that college in person within the given time.
  • Take all your original documents for verification.
  • If you don’t go, your seat will be cancelled and given to someone else.
